Designed in an understated, timeless style that blends in anywhere, our Stronghold Trousers combine the looks and versatility of classic chinos with the technical performance of technical trekking trousers.
The secret to this split personality is the fabric: it’s an astonishingly functional 100% polyamide with our Dynamic Moisture Control™ finish.
Firstly – it’s extremely durable. In fact, in lab tests, it’s the single most hardwearing trouser fabric we’ve ever created. Which is, when you think about some of the fabrics we’ve used in the last 40 years, pretty impressive.
It’s also highly wind resistant, extremely breathable and offers very good (UPF40+)* protection from the harmful effects of the sun’s rays.
Our highly-effective Dynamic Moisture Control™ finish improves the wicking performance and guarantees you’ll keep your cool in the hottest and most humid conditions.
The trousers are simple to wash – in the machine or the closest stream – and will comfortably dry overnight, with no ironing required.
They feature two hand pockets – one contains an internal zipped pocket, the other contains an accessory tri-ring.
Two rear patch pockets and a further hidden security pocket provide plenty of storage options for all your travel essentials.
An adjustable button tab at the waist accommodates an over-generous pub lunch and provides a bit of flexibility if you find yourself slightly ‘between sizes’.
